Dhriti Shankar is currently pursuing a PhD in critical theory at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. His research interests include Somaesthetics, Urban Studies, Body Studies, Feminism, Queer Theory, Postcolonial literatures, and Animal Studies. His latest work is ‘Redefining ‘Safe bodies’: queering the body politics in the covid-19 pandemic’ (Distinktion: Journal of Social Theory, 2022).
