Universal Fall

Sitting at my window,
the moon will mutate into full love
to give me a vulcanized pain.

The storm will snuff
the earthen lamp. You will not kiss
the poet to find the hidden mystery.

The doorkeeper stops
the sun. Everything is not wrong. You
want to erode the lie in darkness.

The poem is about our getting away from nature, a part of the cosmos. That is the universal fall. Moon which should give a pleasant experience gives pain. The storm puts the light out so that the mysteries in the mind of the poet may remain unknown. We keep ourselves away from the Sun and hide ourselves in darkness (artificial lights).
