LET THE MIST STAY LITTLE LONGER

Sunlight seeping through
Winters thick mist
Sunlight struggling to warm me
Clothed in the winters mist
I seek the sun lights warmth of friendship
Sunlight my friend
While you are coming towards me
Mist wants to dissolve in you
Allow me to soak the nostalgia of
A misty winter morning little longer
I need you both
To delight and warm my soul
My memories like winters mist
Blankets me , in the company of both of you
I need you both ...

I WANT

My needs are greater than my ability
My wants are endless
More I receive
More I want
I am lured by my want
I am trapped by my wants
I am imprisoned by my wants
What I need today, loses its necessity tomorrow
Yet I chase my wants
I now pause and think
What I want
Why I want
My wants too pause
And leaves me ...

RADIANT ONE

What a magnificent splendour
You shine like a priceless pearl
Your ethereal beauty pervades the atmosphere
Radiant glow of your beauty is mesmerising
You are here
You are there
You are everywhere
You are within and outside
Your grace never diminishes
You lead us from
The unreal to real
The darkness to light
The death to immortality
Radiant one
You are a majestic light divine
I bow to you in reverence ...

STAY CLOSE, DONT GO

Don’t come too near
So that we get stuck
Don’t go too far
So that we fade away

I am like a little bird in your palm
If you keep it open
I will fly away
If you squeeze too hard
I will die ...

RIVER INSIDE ME

I listen to the river inside me
It pulses, churns and surges up
Against my rocky heart
Finally it spurts from my head
As a gushing poem

Finally words keep crawling into my poem
I watch the new born metaphor
I hear the echo s of the words inside me
I watch the words weave into a poem ...
