Nov 28: Students sensitised about Kashmiri language by AMK



JK Desk, Nov 28, 2015: Adbi Markaz Kamraz (AMK), the federation of over two dozen of Kashmiri language promoting units of north Kashmir region, organised its third extension lecture in Qamarwari High School in Ganderbal district on November 28, 2015 to sensitise the students about importance of mother tongue. Several prominent writers were amongst the large gathering of students.

Sahitya Akademi awardee and retired Prof M Z Azurdah delivered the lecture on the occasion, while Prof Khurshid, Vice Chancellor of Kashmir University, presided over the valedictory session. Shujaat Bukhari, Chairman of JKCC and President of AMK was the guest of the honour. He is also the Chief Editor of the dailies Rising Kashmir and Sangarmal.

DPS Srinagar stole the scene with first position during the finale of War of Words, in which 24 teams participated.
