Authors may submit manuscripts that conform to the scope and focus of the journal as elaborated in ‘About Us.’ Manuscripts should normally not exceed 4000 words in length and should give references, if any, at the end. Manuscript should be of unpublished work and not have been submitted simultaneously to other publications. Else, an explanation may be provided.

Muse India will accept material submitted only in softcopy form through email, except under unusual circumstances. Manuscripts should be created as files in MS-Word format or Text format. These should be attached to a covering email addressed to the appropriate Editor as below: 

1. Poems should be mailed to Editor-poetry@museindia.com 

2. Short fiction should be mailed to Editor-fiction@museindia.com 

3. Articles and other general submissions should be mailed to Editor-articles@museindia.com  

Authors are advised not to club different kinds of submissions in one mail, but to send them separately as shown above. They should, of course, preserve electronic backups of submitted material, as Muse India will not take the responsibility to return the material. 

Authors submitting their work to be considered for publication in Muse India should be registered Members of the journal. If they are not already so, they should enroll as Members. Membership is free. All submissions should be accompanied by:

1. Membership details 

2. Brief profile of the author 

3. Scanned photograph of the author 

4. Indication of the nature of material being submitted, i.e., literary article, poem, short fiction etc. 

5. Indication of format in which the file is created, i.e., MS-Word, text file, etc. 

Editors will notify authors about material accepted for publication. However, this may typically take two to four weeks. No correspondence on submitted material will be entertained. 

Hardcopy submissions may be sent, under exceptional circumstances only, marked to the appropriate Editor and mailed to journal’s registered office: Muse India, 38 Malani Enclave, Trimulgherry, Secunderabad 500 015. All material can be put in a single envelope. Authors may note that unaccepted material will not be returned.

Copyright for articles published in this journal will rest with the authors, with first publication rights to the journal. As the journal follows an open access policy, articles or extracts from articles may be used by others, with proper attribution, for academic and non-commercial use.

Authors are required to take relevant approvals for any copyright material they may use in their work submitted to Muse India. The journal will not be responsible in any way for copyright infringements.
